MIROS welcomes Prof Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah who has been appointed as the new director general of MIROS beginning 1 August 2008. He was previously attached to the School of Civil Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang as the Dean and is seconded to the Institute for 2 years. Prof Farhan brings with him 20 years of experience in the area of transportation planning, modelling and engineering, and traffic engineering. He succeeds Prof Dato' Ir Dr. Radin Umar Radin Sohadi following his appointment to the Ministry of Higher Education.
